BrewDog is the Brewery with the Bad Beer Ideas, and We Love Them!
BrewDog is a craft brewery. This means they’ll experiment with crazy beer ideas with a passion. But as you guys know here at This Blog, we love ideas, and we love people who are not afraid of trying out new things. Because I’m sure BrewDog experimented with some absurd recipes, but in the end, emerged savoring some good beer. Cheers BrewDog!
“The End of History” is what the guys at BrewDog called this beer. It’s the strongest beer ever made, and at $700 a bottle, it’s the most expensive beer ever. The bottles were sold out just as they came out of the brewery. Only twelve of these bottle were made, all road kill.
The “Trashy Blonde” is made with what they claim to be “imagination especially imported from Alice in Wonderland.” It’s a softer beer that looks delicious to, um, take home. It’s a slutty blend of fruits with malt that’ll make you giddy in excitement.
Another example would be the “Tactical Nuclear Penguin,” the now standing world’s strongest beer: 32% ABV. Chug that, frat boy. It’s frozen and refrozen to make it reach what they call, “epic maturation.”
Tokyo was “inspired by a 1980’s space invaders arcade game played in Japan’s capital.” If there’s a place to get inspiration it’s Japan. It’s a very strong beer at 18.2% ABV, but it’s softened up by the understanding and love of cranberries and Jasmine.
