P-Tree: A Urinal Strap-On for Trees, “It’s like peeing into the wild”

Scientific fact: the drunk male is an uncontrollable urination machine. In the appropriately called “Wee” hours of the night, all trees looks like urinals from a males intoxicated point of view. 

P-Tree, an invention by the Dutch studio Aandeboom has given all drunk men their dignity back by telling them, “it’s ok, you brute, you can pee in this here tree.” 

This well-designed urinal is strapped to a tree, blending in perfectly with the nature around it. To the untrained, inebriated eye it might just seem like a perfectly good tree to pee on, when in reality, it’s a world-class urinal designed to take in even the most heavy of drinkers. The urinal itself is connected to a sewage system underneath, so you can sleep at night knowing that all that liquid is going where it should. 

I think this idea is fantastic. It’s versatile, sanitary and it allows drunk men to look respectful, responsible and conscious about where they whip it out.

The biggest plus I find with this idea though, is that it takes us back to our original, basic selves. Back to the worry-free days when we were one with nature. It gives us the feeling of freedom. We are all mother nature’s children, my dear reader, do not forget that. And she is delighted when we are comfortable, once again, with unzipping in public, and releasing unwanted liquids.

As the description in the Aandeboom website states, “The P-tree gives a feeling of freedom during peeing. It is the same as peeing into the wild.” I agree. The birds in the background. The sound of a distant waterfall. Wind traveling through millions of leaves while we, drunk men, make room for more beer.

The only downside I see to this is the sad fact that all the trees in the surrounding area of bars and clubs wont receive the fertilizing that they’ve become accustomed to.
